I just can't tell you how much we all love Neptune. He eats and sleeps on a routine each day. He knows when we are leaving in the morning and he begins to squawk. I find myself hurrying home to spend more time with him. He appears to love being cuddled but he doesn't like being taken out of his cage. We always put him on an old towel when we hold him and he promptly discovered the frayed edges. Chewing on that seems to be almost hypnotizing for him. We have since bought him a chew toy (I hope this is ok) and he loves it. So far he has had two showers and he hates them. (Any suggestions?) He does love the blow dryer and he even turns around to get both sides dry. Today we started training him to step up and he did it! Thanks so much for giving us our new family member!

I would like to affirm the excellent treatment these fids must get at their "birth house". I became the proud parent of "Kramer" (my cockatiel) a few months ago and since I have owned another cockatiel before, and a conure also now, I have never experienced a more affectionate little fellow. He calls to me the instant I walk into the room, loves loves loves scratches and pets all over (tummy rubs, neck massages and back rubs!) He is sooo playful and wants out of his cage 24/7 to be with me. His affections go beyond myself also. He welcomes attention from everyone in my family! Basically he is a little feathered suck.
I can only attribute this to the advertised notes from linnies and more that they truly are socialized to the max!
Thank you for my beloved baby!

Thank you for all your prompt replies. The Caique arrived in time and
Air Canada do a great job of handling the live bird shipping.
The bird does not show any stress or any sign of unhappy,
she just play with my family right the way. I believe she
got enough rest during the shipping and she seems
really enjoy her new home(cage) and us.
Again, all your arrangement is so much appreciated.
All the best of your family and your business.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for my spangled budgie Caesar! He is settling in pretty well considering it's only been 3 days and hes still a baby! He begs to come out of his cage every time he sees me now and is very well behaved, never biting!
The hour drive to get him from you was definitely worth it. It seems that no breeders take the time and energy to hand feed budgies, it just shows you really care about your birds and not just about making money! I will definitely recommend you to anyone I know looking for a bird...and I hope to add to my flock from you in the future!
Here is a picture taken 2 days after bringing Caesar home with my 6 year old son. This would never happen with a store bought budgie!

I am thrilled with my new baby girls!
You have been kind and patient over the past many months, during my hunt for cobalt and marine Linnie hens. They are RADIANT! Their feathering is perfect and their colours are rich. Obviously, you do a fabulous job of caring for them. These little gals were worth the drive from Peterborough! They have settled into their new surroundings without any stress whatsoever. They are eating well and exploring their new toys.
Thank you for a totally positive experience! I am confident I will be in touch with you in future.
Just wanted to let you know that our
little pineapple boy is doing great! We've named him Stiggy, and he is fitting
in well with our household.
I was just wondering what his hatch date was? We've had him in to the vet
and I realized I didn't really know how old he is.
Thanks so much,
From Linda in Vancouver
Just want to let you know how the brownheads I got from you are doing. They are exactly as you discribe:
"super friendly and amazing pets, they are very easy to handle, not demanding birds but love attention"
I think that you and your daughter handling them alot makes a big difference too.
Good job, love them alot.

Hi Jiliane and Jim
We are so happy with our new slate male linnie. The drive to your home was not difficult. Our new linnie is so friendly and tame. He settled in his new home immediately and began playing with his new toys. It only took him a day to start trying all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I can tell you and your family spent a lot of time socializing him and giving him lots of love. He is a real sweetie.
Thank you again,
We just received this email from a customer who purchased a baby brownheaded parrot from us.
Hi Jilaine, hope all is good, Mikki is doing great, thought you might enjoy a few pics i took of him, he says..."merry christmas".....lol, he so sweet, take care...

Its been just over a week and Bugsy and Daphne have adjusted very well to there new home. They spend most evenings sitting on my shoulder or the back of the couch watching TV with me. They love to play in there new big cage lots of room for there theatrics. They are both coming to there names and Bugsy will even stay when told (not 100% yet but a start). They share and play like 2 infants in a playpen and squabble the same way over a treat or a certain spot on the perch (usually the one the other is standing on).
They both love bath time in there water bowl which is a comical thing to watch, they bath 1 at a time since Bugsy actually dunked Daphne's head in the water, since then they wont bath together lol.
I am very proud to tell you that Daphne spoke her first words Sunday morning. She actually said "Pretty Bird" I couldn't believe it when I heard it and got it on tape. She got lots or praise and love and the good treats for that.
They are both very vocal but not very loud unless they are playing or have a little squabble other then that they are very comfortable and loved in there new home.
Thank you very much for my 2 parrots the Senegal Daphne and the Meyers Bugsy.
They are very loving and social birds and Will enjoy them for many many years to come.
Thank you very much again

Thanks so much. He is beautiful.
I may get another male next clutch.
Please keep me posted.
He is so calm, loving and friendly.
"Jilaine at Linnies and More has helped me be certain a linnie was a good pet choice for me and my family. She then made sure I was happy with my bird and has given me lots of support by providing useful information and answering all my questions along the way. My bird is active, engaging and learning to talk. Thanks Jilaine!!"

We are so very much in love with our new family members! The Conures that I purchased from you are absolutely beautiful, they are all healthy, well cared for and extremely unique. My family and I are now the proud owners of two gorgeous birds, I could ever dream of owning and it was all made possible by a very special lady who not only raises the most exquisite birds but shows the true compassion and expertise to make sure they are safely placed in the right home. I couldn’t be more pleased with this whole experience and am so very grateful! Thank you so very much for your time and your consideration. It was so very nice talking with you on the phone!
If anyone is looking for a bird I will recomend you and let them know how very professional you are. This was our first time having a bird shipped and we were very nervous about the process. You walked us through it step by step. My family and I asked you so many questions. When it came to my questions you answered them all and even offered more information. Thank you so much for that! I will continue to do business with you in the future and look forward to purchasing more of your birds some day. Thank you so very much!

Hello and Merry Christmas.
I hope you enjoy these pics of Baby I took today. You can actually see her new pin feathers growing in. She is very photogenic and posed for me. We are getting along fabulously and her vocabulary grows every day. The photos of her are beautiful. She is very happy here!

Just wanted to thank you for all your help and knowledge with Ruby,
our Green Cheek Conure. She is the sweetest, lovable bird, we love her to
pieces and would make the drive all over again, knowing we are getting
a healthy, happy and socialized bird..
I truly appreciate and respect your input with her since she started
to produce her own clutches..You've truly been a great mentor..
I hope everthing is good. I just wanted to tell you that Egbert is now saying his first words. He makes a clicking sound then says come here when we get close to the cage. Hailey is so excited, unfortunatley we cann't get him to say it on command yet so some people think we are crazy LOL.
Talk to you later
I just had to share with you- my linnie is already whistling a tune back to me! And I think he’s trying to say his name (it’s Pancho). Is this normal for them to “speak” at such a young age?? He’s so cute- yesterday he fell asleep in my hand! It’s obvious you spent time with him. Thanks for providing me with such a well-adjusted and friendly little guy!
Julia---Linda's Daughter - Hamilton
I just wanted to give you some feedback on the green edged girl that my mom bought for me from you!
Thank you for producing such a wonderful baby girl! She's my early xmas present to enjoy! Only problem now is deciding what her name will be! She's the perfect fit in our family, she's so gentle with the kids, and loves the cuddles and the attention. She's a calm and patient linnie! She also loves to play by herself with her toys, when she is in the cage, and loves to be out of the cage ( of course!). I think that she may one day start to talk, she has this sort of chirping after you talk at her and she really looks intently at you when you're talking to her. We'll see.
Thank you again for such a wonderful new addition to our family- I would definately love to adopt another sweet linnie from you again one day! Would recommend anyone looking for a sweetie to head down to your way in London- worth the drive!!

**Julia has been back and purchased a green linnie from us just a short time ago**
From Linda - Hamilton
Hi Jilaine...thank you so very much for the cute pictures of both of our linnies. Too adorable!!!The pictures make a very special keepsake for us. Julia's little golden girl is her "dream bird" she said. I guess I couldn't have given her more of a special Christmas gift than the linnie that she has always wanted!! She is just fitting in so well with her family (daughter age 5, son, age 18 months) being that she is so gentle and sweet. She told me that pictures just don't capture the true beauty of her colour.
I will definitely be doing some advertising for you around the Hamilton area if I hear of anyone looking for a sweet linnie for a pet.
All the best to you, Linda
***Linda has several of our babies, and all of them talk, suprisingly they are all females***
Just to let you know how well my cobalt Linnie is doing. I named him Babyblue but I might change it to Bluejay. He is very calm and friendly. He steps up from inside his cage. He doesn't always want to step up from on top because he thinks I'll put him back in the cage. At first he wanted to go back in because he was a little afraid since everything was new to him. But I didn't let him hide for too long or he would become cage bound. Now he loves to be out on top of his cage and on my shoulder or play on the desk when I'm on the computer. He even lets me lay him on his back and pet his tummy. You obviously spent a lot of time socializing him and it shows. If I hear of anyone looking for a Linnie breeder, I will definitely recommend you to them.

Marc and I just want to convey our sincerest thanks for all you have done! We are so thrilled with our little girl (parrotlet), she is super friendly and tame. She is already all over her cage exploring it. Again, I just want to mention how healthy all your birds look, and should there EVER be anyone inquiring as to where to get a parrotlet, it is you I am sending them to. We are looking forward to returning so you can help us learn how to trim her wings, and we really appreciated all the valuable tips you gave to us on how to provide the best care for our new addition. All the best to you both and your business!
